Utah Gay Ski Safari

January 4 - 8, 2012 (Closed)

This year, Saga North is teaming up with SAGA San Diego and Ski Out Utah for their second annual Utah Gay Ski Safari on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 through Sunday, January 8.

This trip renews a tradition of a gay ski week each winter in Utah. Our resorts will include the Alta, Snowbasin, Snowbird and Solitude ski areas. (Boarders will have the option of two days at Snowbird since Alta still remains one of the country's few "skiers only" resorts). That's a combined area of 9200 acres of skiing/boarding, with a variety of terrain and scenery that is unmatched in the American West. Moreover, each of the resorts boasts an average annual snowfall of 400-500 inches of that incredible Utah powder.

The host hotel for Saga North and SAGA San Diego will be the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City. The trip price will include roundtrip airfare from Oakland to Salt Lake City, a four night stay in double occupancy rooms at the Sheraton (taxes included), a full hot breakfast each morning of your stay, transportation to and from the slopes each day, and four lift tickets. In addition, the three ski clubs as well as some Salt Lake City venues will each be sponsoring an après ski party during our stay.

So sign up now and let's get this new tradition up to cruising speed. With three clubs participating to make this a success, we're bound to have a great time both on the slopes and off!
