Sugar Bowl Weekend

February 20 - 22, 2009 (Closed)

Sugar Bowl is a friendly and inviting ski resort that offers a wide variety of terrain, ranging from beginner slopes, snowboard parks, long cruiser runs for the intermediates, and even some hair-raising cliffs and chutes to get the expert skiers adrenaline flowing. Located near Donner Summit, Sugar Bowl receives more snow than almost anywhere in North America. On average, Sugar Bowl receives over 500 inches per year.

The Sugar Bowl weekend starts on Friday, February 20. We will be staying in SAGA North's cabin located in the Tahoe Donner division of Truckee, a 30 minute drive to Sugar Bowl. Sugarbowl is conveniently located to the Bay Area, and many will consider the option of leaving early Friday morning to get in a day on the slopes on Friday, before arriving at the cabin Friday night. Check in time is 5:00 PM

Your trip leader, Jason, will be organizing the meals for the weekend. This includes refreshments and snacks on Friday night, group dinner in the house on Saturday night and full hot breakfasts Saturday and Sunday mornings.
