Whistler Gay Ski Week

February 2 - 9, 2008

Two Mountains — Miles of Runs!!!

A Peak to Peak Experience to be had by all! 7 Nights lodging in two bedroom condos at Stoney Creek-Northstar Condos located in the world class Canadian ski resort of Whistler Village. Lots of modern lifts to get you up the mountains quickly and efficiently.

There are lots of activities besides skiing as part of the Gay Whistler week - comedy night and Apres Ski parties just to name a few. Visit www.gaywhistler.com for more information about Whistler Gay Ski Week There are a variety of dining, shopping and entertainment options in Whistler Village, the heart of which is a five minute walk from the condos.

Although it will not be finished in time for this trip, Whistler has begun construction of a Peak-to-Peak gondola between the two mountains, which will add to experience in future years. Last season, Whistler introduced the Symphony Express chair for a faster way to use the popular Symphony Bowl and Burnt Stew Trail. With three different weather systems and climates, depending on the altitude, you can usually find good conditions somewhere on the two mountains. If you are a hardy skier or rider ready for a unique experience, you may want to try the glaciers too — a feature that is hard to find on most other North American resorts.

Package price includes your lodging (shared 4 person condos), round trip ground transportation from Vancouver International Airport, to Whistler, and 5 days of lift tickets. Complimentary evening wine and snacks to help you unwind after a hard day on the slopes, and before you head off to the on-premise hot tub or a night out in the village.

Round trip airfare is not included in the trip price - you must arrange your own. The trip leader's choice for the flight is: United Air Lines Flight 1116 departing San Francisco, CA at 11:00 AM arriving Vancouver, BC at 1:14PM. Returning on the 9th United Flight 1164 departing Vancouver at 6:40 PM arriving in San Francisco at 8:51PM. The arriving flight will allow us more than enough time to get to the mountains. You are free to use any airline that you wish, however please try to arrive in Vancouver at approximately the same times as we need to travel together for the ground transportation. Other airline options with direct service from SFO to Vancouver are Alaska Airlines and Air Canada.

Your Trip Leaders - George N. and Dan S. are looking forward to a great ski week and will be more than happy to try to answer any questions you may have. So get your Passports out and sign up as soon as possible.
