Warren Miller Movie Playground

November 9, 2007

Come See Warren Miller's Latest Film at the Castro Theatre!

Warren Miller’s Playground, the largest action sports film on the planet, is coming to the Bay Area in November. Presented in stunning high definition, this year’s installment, from the originators of the industry, chronicles extraordinary action and cinematography from around the globe.

Highlights of Warren Miller’s Playground include:

  • X-Games Gold Medalists Zach & Reggie Crist discover the steepest and deepest terrain Alaska has to offer.
  • Sampling delicious champagne powder and sushi in Tomamu & Niseko, Japan.
  • Skiing in 120 degree heat inside the world’s largest indoor ski resort in Dubai.
  • Instant evolution of the Freeskiing movement at the exclusive Jon Olsson Invitational in Sweden.
  • The scenes include some of SAGA North's favorite playgrounds of Whistler, Aspen, Mammoth, and Alta.

And that’s just the beginning. Warren Miller film premiers are an experience, a party and a phenomenon not to be missed. Freebies include a mid-week Heavenly ticket, and a $25 REI coupon. The World Tour hits San Francisco this November 2007.

SAGA will be seeing the film on Friday, November 9th at the historic Castro Theater. We’ll be starting the festivities that evening with a dinner at the All-Seasons Japanese restaurant at 6:00 p.m.

Purchase your tickets either on line at Ticketmaster or buy them in person at the San Francisco REI store (where they are sold at face value, $18.00, with no additional service charges). Then RSVP the trip leaders.

We will start the evening off with 6:00 PM pre-show dinner at All Seasons Sushi, 524 Castro (we are being seated at 6:00 so please be punctual). Come join the fun and camaraderie in this pre-season get together.
