January 13 - 20, 2008
Aspen has something for everyone. There are four great mountains and you're sure to find skiing to suite your ability, whether iit's the gentle beginner slopes of Buttermilk, Ruthie's intermediate cruiser on Aspen Mountain, the seemingly endless groomed corduroy of Snowmass or the steep back bowls of Aspen Highlands. The town of Aspen is a delight, with great restaurants, pubs, art galleries, shopping, health clubs and spas, all on quaint Victorian streets in a pristine Rocky Mountain setting. Events at Gay Ski Week include the downhill costume competition, comedy night, the Aspen GLBT Film Festival, a gallery walk, group dinners and parties galore. Check it out at www.gayskiweek.com.
We will be staying at the Chateau Roaring Fork and Fifth Avenue Condos, both within easy walking distance of the slopes of Aspen Mountain or the free shuttle buses to the other mountains. Price of the trip includes round-trip air SFO to Aspen on United Airlines, ground transfers to and from the Aspen Airport, seven nights lodging, a five-day lift ticket good at all four mountains, and a wine and cheese welcome party.
Ground Only Package
For a limited number of people, SAGA North offers a special package of lodging and lift tickets without the air transportation.
Early Deposit Plan
From August 24 to 27, SAGA North offered an early deposit plan, where members could pay approximately half the price of the trip, and pay the remainder of the Early Bird price by November 1. Those that did not take advantage of this offer have until October 14 to get the Early Bird price by paying in full.
Thanks to all the people who signed up during the early-deposit period. This helped us get enough people to put this trip on our schedule.
