Feb 2-6

Up for a new challenge, SAGAmites? This year, SAGA will be heading for its first time to BIG SKY country in Montana for a five day, four night trip in early February. With 4350 jaw-dropping vertical feet, Big Sky ranks #1 in the U.S.A for total vertical. The resort is actually spread over 3 mountains-- Andesite Mountain, Lone Mountain, and Flat Iron Mountain—providing more than 3600 acres of varied terrain to choose from each day, along with an annual snowfall of 400 inches, and runs as long as six miles. And for those hot-dog skiers who think that still won’t be enough, in 2003 the state of Montana opened its newest ski resort –Moonlight Basin Ski Area -- adjacent to Big Sky ski resort. Moonlight Basin has high speed lifts, bowl skiing and glade skiing at all levels, a 3850 ft vertical drop, and trails spread over 2000 acres. Bottom line --- the package includes lift tickets to both ski areas, which are within walking distance or free shuttle from our hotel, and a whopping 5600 acres to pick where you’d like to carve your turns each day.
